We offer a wide range of topics that can be delivered as-is, but we are best known for providing customised training solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of your workforce and organisation.

As a first step, we recommend contacting us for a free, no-obligation consultation. This allows us to understand your needs and recommend the most qualitative, cost-efficient child safety training solution for you.

In-Person Training or Exclusive Online Classes

We coordinate facilitated learning to match your preferences, with flexible options like early evening or weekend sessions for those who find weekdays challenging. Programs range from 2 hours to 2 days and can be delivered in-person or online. Longer courses can also be broken into shorter sessions or blended learning programs for online access.

Both in-person and online options offer experienced facilitators and interactive learning, with our easy-to-use virtual classroom just like an online meeting.

Explore our courses here, which can be delivered as-is or tailored to your needs. We also offer bespoke course development. As our facilitated training fills quickly, contact us soon to reserve your date.

“I came into today feeling it was going to be a very ho-hum boring full day on child safety. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was a great way to learn and understand the NZ way of child protection."

Qualitative eLearning

With cost-effective pricing, multiple learner discounts, and courses that match the quality of in-person training, our eLearning courses are highly rated and easily accessible. Our range of courses:

  • Cover various safeguarding and child protection topics, including child protection refresher courses.

  • Serve the broader children’s workforce as well as specific workforce sectors.

  • Support groups of children and organisational practices that can be exposed to increased vulnerability risks.

  • Include specialist courses for staff with specific child safety responsibilities, e.g. Governance, Safeguarding Staff, HR, etc.

eLearning Tailored to Your Organisation

We’re one of the few providers offering bespoke child protection eLearning that can be hosted on your LMS or ours. Unlike others who charge high fees or restrict IP access, we support customers with fairly priced, accessible and self-sustainable child safety learning options.

Courses are fully tailored to your organisation. We align the course with your branding, policies, and procedures and incorporate relevant case studies and scenarios to meet your specific child protection needs. For organisations with high learner numbers, frequent staff turnover, or specific child safety needs, purchasing the course rather than individual spaces is a qualitative, cost-effective learning solution.

See the below feedback from Dilworth School on how we supported them with a comprehensive suite of tailored child protection eLearning. Contact us to learn how we can create tailored eLearning solutions for your organisation.

Tailored eLearning for Dilworth School

In 2022, Dilworth School became the first school in Aotearoa New Zealand to achieve child safety accreditation. To receive this independent accreditation from child safety experts, the school had to demonstrate compliance with 10 Child Safe Organisation principles, one of which focused on staff induction and training. Holistic Safeguarding supported Dilworth School by developing tailored Child Protection Induction eLearning and bespoke Safeguarding and Child Protection Training for various staff groups. These programs were customised to align with each group’s specific child safety roles and responsibilities, including Governance and Leadership.

“Kim has been outstanding to work with. Her expertise in safeguarding and her ability to translate that into impactful training and bespoke eLearning has been a tremendous asset to our school. She has significantly contributed to improving school culture by assisting us to create a safe and supportive environment."

Individual or Teams

We offer tailored mentoring and coaching programs to support individuals and teams in their child safeguarding and protection roles. These services are ideal for teams implementing child safety best practices as part of becoming a Child Safe Organisation, such as Governance, Leadership, and HR staff, and for individual leads like Safeguarding Officers and Child Protection Leads.

Our support is fully customised to meet immediate and likely future child safety needs, ensuring a focused and practical approach.

Facilitated / eLearning / Resources / Blended Learning

We specialise in tailored support, including customised facilitated in-person or online training and bespoke eLearning, which can be hosted on your LMS or ours. Why pay for individual spaces when you can purchase the entire course?

Our customisation also includes blended learning programmes, from Induction resources to specialist child protection training, as well as flexible programmes such as “Trainer for Trainer” courses supporting the delivery of in-house or sector-wide child protection training. Additionally, we’ve created child protection content that can be integrated into customers’ existing workforce learning.

Tailored training ensures relevance and is a cost-effective way to meet your organisation’s child safeguarding and protection needs. See below for how we supported OSCN, and contact us to create something bespoke for your organisation.

Tailored Training for OSCN

Supporting OSCN with their Safeguarding and Child Protection Training has been a pleasure. John approached us for in-person training for the OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) communities, but we went further, creating a sustainable solution so OSCN could deliver ongoing training applicable to staff roles and responsibilities independently. We provided:

  • A tailored Trainer for Trainer course with an Introduction to Child Protection Learning Resource enabling a pool of OSCAR professionals to deliver 3-hour training to internal and OSCAR community frontline staff.

  • A bespoke Child Protection Refresher eLearning, hosted by OSCN, for continuous refresher training.

  • Exclusive Online Classes for OSCAR Managers/Owners responsible for responding to any child safety concerns.

“Kim understood the needs of our sector and was able to provide resources that were well-suited for our diverse community of learners and cost-effective for our limited budget. We are now well set-up to look after our own training needs thanks to Kim's innovative and flexible approach. We also appreciated her consistent emphasis on ensuring children's voice is heard and included in staff professional development."
