Being a Child Safe Organisation
Demonstrate legal, moral, and ethical child safeguarding and protection.
This training offers organisations supporting children, young people, and their families an in-depth opportunity to explore what it truly means to be a Child Safe Organisation. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how safeguarding and child protection are represented legally, morally, and ethically within the context of a Child Safe Organisation.
Learners are guided through the Royal Commission recommendations and 10 Child Safe Organisation Principles, exploring how each principle integrates essential safeguards into key areas of practice and how, collectively, they establish the foundations for a strong safeguarding culture within the organisation.
This training provides a platform for organisations to make informed decisions about their approach to child safety, considering how applying these principles should be tailored and proportionate to the needs, size, and resources of their organisation.
