Allegations Against Staff
Even with the best safeguards possible, no organisation working with children and young people can be immune to the risks of receiving a safeguarding or child abuse allegation against a staff member.
This engaging, interactive and informative 2.5hr online class is designed to help Learners explore best practice in recognising and responding to allegations against staff. Learners will explore factors that can increase the risks of allegations occurring, child safe processes for people being able to raise concerns and best practice when responding to any concerns raised.

By the end of this class, learners will be able to:
Identify what may form concerning practice from a safeguarding perspective.
Recognise what may be considered as an allegation against staff.
Name key considerations when responding to allegations.
State child safe safeguarding strategies that can support organisations when responding to allegations against staff.
The class supports all organisations serving children/young people and their families. This learning is likely to be of most interest to this staff in:
HR/People and Culture Positions
Managerial and/or Supervisory levels
Designated Safeguarding and/or Child Protection Positions
All Learners receive a Personal Certificate, and to help further evidence Professional Development, we make sure all our certificates quote the full 2.5hr study time, as well as the course aim and objectives.
