Responding To
Allegations Against Staff
Even with the best safeguards possible, no organisation working with children and young people can be immune to the risks of receiving a safeguarding or child abuse allegation against a staff member.
This engaging, interactive and informative 2.5hr online class is designed to help Learners explore best practice in recognising and responding to allegations against staff. Learners will explore factors that can increase the risks of allegations occurring, child safe processes for people being able to raise concerns and best practice when responding to any concerns raised.

Please note, Learners should have already completed their safeguarding and child protection learning prior to this training. If this remains outstanding our Safeguarding and Child Protection Online Classes or eLearning courses may be of interest.
By the end of this class, learners will be able to:

Identify what may form concerning practice from a safeguarding perspective.

Recognise what may be considered as an allegation against staff.

Name key considerations when responding to allegations.

State child safe safeguarding strategies that can support organisations when responding to allegations against staff.
