Safer Organisations - A Safeguarding Culture
Time & Location
About the Event
Commonly in safeguarding, the spotlight goes on the safeguarding tools and resources organisations need. Critically we can miss that for effective change, the focus needs to be on the culture surrounding those tools and resources. It is the culture that determines whether any tools and resources become part of the organisation’s desired everyday thinking and practice.
In a summative manner, this engaging and informative online class will coach you through a practical understanding of the fundamentals in creating a safeguarding culture. We highlight how a safeguarding culture relates to adopting a safer organisation perspective. This perspective supports safeguarding everyone – children, staff and the organisation. It also encompasses child safe practice, as child safety is incorporated at every level.
Utilising our expertise in helping organisations achieve safeguarding accreditation and best practice models, we help you learn how to effectively influence change through the advocated best practice elements, as well as some of the key safeguarding solutions for each safer organisation element.
This engaging and informative 2hr online class coaches learners through understanding the key considerations when seeking to become a safer organisation and establish and embed a safeguarding culture.
