Bite-Size Webinar - A Safeguarding Code of Conduct
Time & Location
About the Event
In the fourth of our Bite-Size Webinar Series, we take a look at Safeguarding Codes of Conduct.
A Safeguarding Code of Conduct or a code that incorporates safeguarding is a critical safeguarding solution for any organisation engaging with children/young people, their families and/or vulnerable adults/adults at risk. An effective code of conduct plays an important role in safeguarding children/adults from harm and helping to safeguard staff from possible allegations. However, balancing operational needs with safe practice requirements is not always an easy task.
In this 45-minute, midday, FREE webinar, we take a bite-size look at:
- The role of a safeguarding code of conduct.
- Key considerations in developing a safeguarding code of conduct.
- Frameworks that should surround a safeguarding code of conduct.
Webinar timings include some time for Q&A, but anything we cannot cover during the webinar, we will look to include in any webinar follow up correspondence.
All attendees receive a copy of the presentation material, any resources shared during the webinar, a certificate of attendance and access to the webinar recording. Please note, learners who register but are unable to attend will only receive access to the webinar recording.
If you would like to share this webinar with your networks or social media, we are happy to forward you the specific session imagery.
