No organisation working with children and young people can be immune to receiving a safeguarding or child abuse allegation against a staff member. In this 2.5hr online class we help learners explore what may constitute an allegation and best practice in responding to any concerns raised.

About the event
This engaging, interactive and informative 2.5hr online class is designed to help Learners explore best practice in recognising and responding to allegations against staff. Learners will explore factors that can increase the risks of allegations occurring, child safe processes for people being able to raise concerns and best practice when responding to any concerns raised
Who is this class for?
The class supports all organisations serving children/young people and their families. This learning is likely to be of most interest to this staff in:
- HR/People and Culture Positions
- Managerial and/or Supervisory levels
- Designated Safeguarding and/or Child Protection Positions
- Pastoral/Well-being Staf
All Learners receive a Personal Certificate, and to help further evidence Professional Development, we make sure all our certificates quote the full study time, as well as the course aim and objectives.
Prior Learning
For this class, we do advocate for learners to have already received their basic safeguarding and child protection training. If you are yet to undertake this training, have a look at our eLearning courses, you could complete one of these before this online class.
