About the event

This engaging and informative 2.5hr online class helps Learners take a condensed look at the trilogy of risk (Family Violence, Parental Substance Misuse and Parental Mental Illness (often in this context, undiagnosed or untreated)) and its potential impact on a child/young person living in an environment where the trilogy may be a feature. 

Who is this class for?

This learning is often of most interest to those working:

~ With adults-at-risk/vulnerable adults

~ Supporting families with multiple or complex needs (statutory or community frameworks).

~ Professionals from Social, Health and Education sectors.

~ Staff with specific safeguarding responsibilities, e.g. lead/designated staff, safeguarding champions, etc.

All Learners receive a Personal Certificate, and to help further evidence Professional Development, we make sure all our certificates quote the full study time, as well as the course aim and objectives.

Prior Learning

For this class, we do advocate for learners to have already received their basic safeguarding and child protection training. If you are yet to undertake this training, have a look at our eLearning courses, you could complete one of these before this online class.
