Unlike the other categories of abuse, sexual abuse can be a motive for unsafe people exploiting organisations and their professional position (whether paid, voluntary or contracted).
In this engaging, interactive and informative 2hr online class, Learners explore how child safe safer recruitment differs from current requirements. Learners see how organisations can be exploited and how child safe safer recruitment can help to mitigate these risks.

Recognise how unsafe people may seek to exploit organisations supporting children and/or their families.
Identify safeguarding solutions that can help to deter, reject and prevent the appointment of unsuitable or unsafe people.
Align child safe recruitment to organisational policies and procedures.
Recall the benefits of child safe safer recruitment processes.
